LEICA Nova MS50 MultiStation 고정밀 장거리 스캐닝
라이카 Nova MS50 멀티스테이션은 토탈스테이션과 이미지 획득, 그리고 3차원레이저 스캐닝 기술을 함께 제공하여 보다 효율적인 작업의 선택이 가능한 진보된 시스템이다. 기존의 토탈스테이션(일명 광파측정기)은 측정된 데이터를 AutoCAD나 기타의 소프트웨어를 이용해 2차원적인 처리가 가능했지만, 이 MS50은 지상라이다(3D 레이저스캐너)에서나 가능한 3차원 데이터 획득과 정합(Register) 그리고 후처리 모델링 기술이 적용되어 지형 및 대상물의 3차원 모델링 자료를 구축할 수 있는 시스템이라고 할 수 있다.
WFD(Wave FormDigitizer)
MS50에는 기존의Time of flight 측정 방식에 Phase shift 측정 방식의 장점을 추가한 WFD(Wave FormDigitizer)라는 신기술이 적용되었다. 라이카의 WFD 기술은 만약 측정 데이터가 오차 범위를 벗어나면 이를 제외해 데이터의 정밀도를 평준화 할 수 있다. 따라서 스캔 Noise(노이즈) 역시 다른 데이터에 비해 획기적으로 줄일 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 또한 이를 통해 보다 빠른 측정과 높은 정밀도,장거리 측정이 가능해졌다. MS50은 무타겟방식으로 2,000M까지 측정이 가능하며, 프리즘을 이용하면 10,000M까지 측정할 수 있다. 레이저 스캔거리 역시 최대 1,000M가가능해 기존에 스캔이 어려웠던 지역의 3차원 모델링 데이터 구축이 가능하다.
